OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

During declaration of proclamation of Montenegro as ecological state in the meeting of Assembly in Mt. Durmitor, His Eminence Most Reverend Montenegrin Metropolitan dr Amfilohije was present in the name of the Church. On His suggestion Assembly integrated in resolution the need of 'Ecology of soul', by meaning of moral health and chastity, as prerequisite for ecology and preservation of nature and environment.
Today is up to Assembly of Montenegro to morally exam itself, and check would it be truthful to their resolution or not.
Accepting project for building power plant BUK BIJELA, without serious and responsible studying of all the consequences of that project will definitely mean not only destruction of God given beauty of Tara canyon which has eternal health and salvation for man, but also moral failure of this most lawful body of Montenegro.
That will exactly mean and will be clearly understandable that the Proclamation of Ecological state was a lie, and most common propaganda trick for the naive ones, and Montenegro was and remains object for selling and temporary satisfaction of selfish interests of some individuals and utilitarian groups.
We, still hope that Assembly of Montenegro will be on highest level of its dignity and moral responsibility and truthfulness before God, nature and people.
