Cetinje, 18 May 2002 The following are a few photographs of the St. Peter of Cetinje Seminary which was stoned on the second day of Pascha (Bright Monday, 6 May 2002) for the third time this past year by alleged "unknown assailants." The police in Cetinje have yet to find and identify any perpetrators. The protectors of public order have thus far proven themselves ineffective in finding the "unknown assailants" who attacked the Cetinje Seminary, however they have been very effective in securing illegal entry into the Church of St. John the Baptist in Bajica on Pascha (Easter, 5 May) of this year. The Orthodox Christian faithful who were present witnessed how the police brought an incriminated individual, the defrocked priest and known church delinquent Miras Dedeic and his followers into this historical shrine. The stones and broken windows are but a sad confirmation of the degree of "democracy and security" in Montenegro in the beginning of the 21st century.
